SOM MEDICAL PRACTICE is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Based in Niagara Falls, New York, our practice provides mental health services to patients ages 4 and older. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic services, mental health counseling, and ongoing support to patients while maintaining a professional, patient-centered approach to care.
Applicants must hold a valid New York State LMHC license and be authorized to provide mental health services to patients located in New York State.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in New York State.
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered mental health care.
- Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
